About the show

Don't ya know is a bi-weekly podcast all about fun facts, tidbits, and sordid tales and stories about things in the world around us. From things you may see everyday and never thought twice about, to things you never thought once about and may never see. From the mundane to the insane, normal to paranormal, and most importantly weird, whacky, and just plain unbelievable (but 100% grade A true*).

If you enjoy filling your head with strange and, usually, fairly useless information then this podcast is for you.

Certainly eclectic, definitely interesting, and 100% true, here are the answers to questions you never thought to ask.

About the host

Nathan Laanstra has long had a love of useless facts and information. From his early days as part of his high school's Reach for the Top team to long nights in the various bars and pubs for trivia nights, he has spent nearly three decades amassing the most useless and eclectic facts from this world and beyond.

He has a B.A. in Historical North American Archaeology, as well as a post-graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems with a cartographic specialization.

Nathan is currently working as a full time archaeologist in central Ontario, Canada.

* Note: I do my best to make sure all information presented over the course of the podcasts is all true, however I am only human (pretty sure anyways). If you are aware of any corrections to information presented, please contact me via the contact link at the top and I will remedy the situation. Thank you.

Also just because it is unbelievable doesn't mean that it isn't true, as sometimes truth is much, much, stranger than fiction.
